On Monday, May 13, Stockholm Free World Forum hosted a launch event and panel discussion for the new anthology “The Long Road to NATO.”
This anthology features contributions from several prominent writers who explore Sweden’s journey to NATO membership. The chapters span various periods of modern security policy history, shedding light on the numerous factors that made Sweden’s path to NATO both lengthy and complex. During the event, the authors discussed their respective chapters, followed by a broader conversation about NATO membership and the challenges along the way.
In addition to the authors, Axel Wernhoff, Head of Sweden’s Delegation to NATO, joined the discussion, providing valuable insights into Sweden’s current position within the alliance.
