Arbetsvärlden has presented its annual ranking of Swedish think tanks for 2024. Stockholm Free World Forum climbs their top list from third place in 2023 to second place in 2024.
Stockholm Free World Forum’s chairman, Gunnar Hökmark, comments on the ranking:
– It is an important acknowledgment that the work Stockholm Free World Forum does plays a significant role in the Swedish public debate and, in the long run, in Sweden’s security and its role in Europe. We will continue our work on how Europe can become stronger, how the Nordic region can serve as a unifying force, and how the EU, through reforms and expanded trade, can gain geopolitical strength.
Head of Stockholm Free World Forum, Anna Rennéus Guthrie, adds:
– It is very gratifying to see that the work of our staff and fellows leaves such a clear mark. With a small but sharp secretariat and a strong team of senior fellows and experts, it is possible to make a significant impact despite strong and fair competition.
– Amidst the turbulence and challenges that Europe and Sweden are facing, it is important — if not critical — that the issues and perspectives that Stockholm Free World Forum has independently advocated for over more than a decade take their rightful place, as the ranking shows.
