As part of its investment in the Foreign Policy Academy (Utrikesakademin), the Stockholm Free World Forum (Frivärld) has established a Capitol Scholarship dedicated to those pursuing foreign policy studies and internships at universities and think tanks in Washington, D.C. The first scholarships have been awarded to two previous SFWF contributors, who will be interning at the think tank Atlantic Council in the American capital during the 2015 spring semester:
Leila Ghanbari, 33, is a former intern at the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Master in International Politics at Uppsala University. Leila has a bachelor’s degree from Stockholm University in Arabic and has studied at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po).
Albin Aronsson, 24, is a bachelor student in political science at Uppsala University. Albin wrote his undergraduate thesis on Huntington’s “Clash of Civilizations” and has studied international security at the Universidad Central in Chile.
