In just a few years, the Chinese social media platform TikTok has amassed over one billion users. At the same time, concerns about TikTok as a security issue have been numerous. Security experts point to the fact that the company’s parent company, ByteDance, is based in China and is thus subject to Chinese law, posing a security risk.
Against this backdrop, the report TikTok – The Children’s Entertainment that Became a Security Concern is launched by Stockholm Free World Forum, authored by Anna Rennéus Guthrie and Patrik Oksanen.
