Arbetsvärlden has today, on March 12, presented its annual ranking of Swedish think tanks for the year 2023. In this ranking, Stockholm Free World Forum climbs from fifth place in 2022 to third place for the previous year.
Stockholm Free World Forum’s chairman, Gunnar Hökmark, takes the sixth position in the ranking of the 25 most prominent profiles associated with think tanks and comments on the rankings:
– We at Stockholm Free World Forum are naturally proud to be ranked as the number 3 think tank in Sweden. It is an expression of successful work. However, our greatest pride lies in how we have contributed to the discourse on threats to our security, the importance of NATO, the structure of the Swedish defense, and the understanding of the threats posed by disinformation and gray-zone warfare against Sweden.
– It is crucial for us to foster an understanding of the threats posed by Russia and China to the free world and emphasize the importance of addressing this with a strong Europe. We will continue this work with openness to everyone who wishes to participate in the debate.
Anna Rennéus Guthrie, Head of Stockholm Free World Forum, adds:
– It’s truly exciting that Stockholm Free World Forum, despite its modest size, manages to make a significant impact in the public discourse. Our staff and fellows contribute daily to enhancing knowledge about Swedish foreign and security policy, providing long-term analysis and recommendations for policy development, all at a time when the world needs it the most.
