On February 6th, The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce (SACC-USA), together with AmCham Sweden and KPMG, organized the full-day event Transatlantic Day 2025. Transatlantic Day is an event that coordinates various panels discussing current events in Swedish trade and Swedish-American relations.

Anna Rennéus Guthrie, Director of Stockholm Free World Forum, participated in a panel moderated by Katarina Tracz, CEO of Solomós Communications and senior fellow at Stockholm Free World Forum. Other panelists included Johan Sjöberg, Director of Security and Defense Policy at Svenskt Näringsliv, Mike Winnerstig, Head of the Department of Security Policy at the Swedish Defense Research Agency, and Björn Fägersten, CEO of Politea and fellow at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs. The discussion centered on how Sweden’s membership in NATO shapes economic and security opportunities and how the alliance can strengthen Sweden’s role on the global stage while enhancing national and regional security.
