Let the World Hear

Publicerad 20 November, 2020

On 9 August 2020, the Belarusian dictator Aliaksandr Lukashenka, who has ruled the country for 26 years, falsely claimed victory in the national election. The people of Belarus reacted to the injustice by holding peaceful demonstrations and meetings. The regime responded in the most gruesome way imaginable.

Stockholm Free World Forum and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Nordic Countries Project are proud to present the anthology “Let The World Hear”. With the help of a group of tireless Belarusian volunteers, we have gathered the stories of the people who spoke up. We have also included expert commentary on the social, political and economic status of Belarus, as well as what led up to the crackdown.

The paper edition costs 60sek (shipping included): order by sending an email to info@frivarld.se

The book is based around testimonies from Belarusian volunteers to whom we direct a special thank you.
