Stockholm Free World Forum is organizing a breakfast seminar on Nordic-Baltic security cooperation.
The Nordic-Baltic relationship is of great importance today, especially considering Sweden’s expected NATO membership. It is crucial for Sweden to increase its focus on strengthening defense and security cooperation with allies, both within and independently of the NATO structure.
The democratic countries in northern Europe form a strong alliance with common values, primarily freedom, which has been crucial in supporting Ukraine.
How far has our information exchange progressed, and what can we do to further deepen cooperation in the Nordic-Baltic region?
The conversation begins with an introduction by Gunnar Hökmark, Chairman of Stockholm Free World Forum, followed by remarks from Mr. Linas Linkevicius, Ambassador-at-Large Lithuania, participant of previous roundtable seminar on NB8. Patrik Oksanen, Resident Senior Fellow at Stockholm Free World Forum, presents and then provides an overview of the report United We Stand, authored by Patrik Oksanen and Gunnar Hökmark.
Other participants include Janne Jokinen, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Finland to Sweden and Gabriele Bauman, Director of KAS Nordics.
The conversation is moderated by Anna Rennéus Guthrie, Director of Stockholm Free World Forum, and will be conducted in English.
Warmly welcome!
