Stockholm Free World Forum held a seminar to launch the report Taiwan Situation – Chinese Escalation, Risks and Deterrence. The report provides an overview of Taiwan’s situation as well as what Sweden and like-minded states can do so that China does not choose a military solution for the Taiwan issue.
Participants in the seminar were Patrik Oksanen, writer of the report and resident senior fellow Stockholm Free World Forum; Ambassador Klement Gu, Taipei Misson in Sweden; Mathias Tegnér, Social Democrats; Stefan Olsson, the Moderates; and Joar Forsell, the Liberals. The panel discussion was moderated by Anna Rennéus Guthrie, head of Stockholm Free World Forum.
