Karl Agell is an intern at Stockholm Free World Forum during the fall semester of 2025. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the Swedish Defence University’s military history program. Karl has a broad interest in defense and security policy, with a particular focus on deterrence, nuclear weapons, and NATO. He has previous experiences from Folke Bernadotte Academy as well as the Swedish Defence Research Agency. He is also active as vice chair of the non-profit foreign policy association Utrikespolitisk Afton and has previous experience from the board of the Swedish Defence University’s student union.
