Book launch: Russia’s Hybrid War: The Northern Front

On September 15, Stockholm Free World Forum (Frivärld), in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, published Russia’s Hybrid War:The Northern Front. Bringing together leading experts from the Nordics, the Baltics, Germany, and Poland, this new book shows how countries on the northern flank are strengthening national capabilities and deepening cross-border cooperation to detect, disrupt, and respond to Russian hybrid threats—offering a blueprint for hybrid deterrence.

Russia’s hybrid war is expanding and Europe is entering a new phase. Drone incursions over Poland are only the latest example,” says Frivärld Director Anna Rennéus Guthrie.  “We have been working on raising awareness of Russia’s hybrid war for many years. Our new book is another step in providing qualitative analysis and understanding across European countries, with a focus on our Baltic Sea and Arctic region.”

Frivärld and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung express their thanks to all authors and editors for their contributions to this critical field of study.
