On the 5th of April, Stockholm Free World Forum arranged a panel discussion about the state of the Swedish defense. The discussion focused on the need for a substantial increase in the Swedish defense budget, priority areas in the total defense and how it better can be coordinated.
Participants were Carl Bergqvist, lieutenant colonel and founder of the blog Wiseman’s Wisdoms; Annika Nordgren Christensen, expert on defense policy issues and member of The Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences, and Patrik Oksanen, political editor and an award-winning editorial writer in the MittMedia Newsgroup. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Oscar Jonsson, Acting Director of Stockholm Free World Forum.
