Sweden and the Baltic countries are situated in the same geographical area in the north of Europe. However, the political perspectives on defence related issues differ between the countries.
In November 2013, The Stockholm Free World Forum invited a group of young Swedish politicians to Vilnius and Riga. The purpose of the trip was to learn about issues related to security policy in the Baltic region. During the trip the group met with politicians and civil servants from Latvia and Lithuania.
