The Foreign Policy Academy of 2023 consisted of 15 students with backgrounds from political parties, business, government agencies, NGOs, and academia. The rector for the program in 2023 was Katarina Tracz. The academic year consisted of four lecture days with the themes: Ideas and -isms in Foreign Policy, Sweden and Security, and Technology, Geopolitics, and Global Strategy. 

In addition, study trips were conducted to Kiruna and Warsaw.

The Foreign Policy Academy of 2022 consisted of 18 students with backgrounds from political parties, business, government agencies, NGOs, and academia. The rectors for the program were Katarina Tracz and Emanuel Örtengren. The academic year consisted of four lecture days with the themes: Ideas and Isms in Our Time, Defense and Security Policy, Europe – Today and in the Future, and Alternative Security Policy Domains.  

In addition, study trips were conducted to Helsinki and Copenhagen.

The Foreign Policy Academy of 2020/21 consisted of 22 students with backgrounds from political parties, business, government agencies, NGOs, and academia. The rector for the program was Emanuel Örtengren, acting director of Stockholm Free World Forum. The academic year consisted of four lecture days with the themes: Ideas and Isms in Our Time, The Future of Europe, The Importance of Free Trade and Prosperity in the Age of Trade Wars, and Security Policy. 

In addition, a study trip was conducted to Vilnius.

The Foreign Policy Academy of 2019 consisted of 19 students with backgrounds from political parties, business, government agencies, NGOs, and academia. The rector for the program was Oscar Jonsson, acting director of Stockholm Free World Forum. The academic year consisted of four lecture days with the themes: Ideas and Isms in Our Time, The Future of Europe, The Importance of Free Trade and Prosperity in the Age of Trade Wars, and Security Policy.  

In addition, two study trips were conducted, one to Berlin and one to Washington D.C. The program concluded in November with an examination day.

The Foreign Policy Academy of 2018 consisted of 20 students with backgrounds from political parties, business, government agencies, NGOs, and academia. The rector for the program was Katarina Tracz, CEO of Stockholm Free World Forum. The academic year consisted of five lecture days with the themes: Security Policy, Ideas and Isms in Our Time, Next Europe, Trade & Free Flows, and The Rest of the World. In addition, two study trips were conducted, one to Berlin and one to Washington D.C.

The Foreign Policy Academy of 2017 consisted of 21 students, primarily from center-right youth organizations and political parties. The academic year comprised five lecture days and two trips, with the first trip being to Riga. The first lecture day took place on Saturday, January 21, with the theme Security Policy. Among the speakers were Stockholm Free World Forum’s rector Mats Johansson and Major General Karlis Neretnieks. The second lecture day was held on Saturday, March 18, and focused on “Free Flows.” The third education day took place on May 13, with the theme “The Future of Europe – If There Is One?”  The first study trip of the year was to Riga on May 29-30. The autumn semester began with the second study trip to Berlin. The fourth lecture day took place on September 16, with the theme “Ideas and Isms in Our Time.” The final lecture day of the year occurred in November, focusing on “The Rest of the World.”

The 2016 Foreign Policy Academy consisted of 20 students who participated in six training sessions throughout the year, including four lecture days and two study trips to Brussels and Riga. A concluding meeting took place on November 19, during which an exam was also held. The theme for the final day was “The Threats to Open Society.”

The 2015 Foreign Policy Academy consisted of 15 students from Stockholm Free World Forum’s talent group of young talents from the seminar activities, plus nominations from seven youth and student organizations within the Alliance. They participated in a total of seven training sessions in 2015, including four lecture days and three study trips to Tallinn, Brussels, and London.
