Alumni of the Foreign Affairs Academy can be found working in places such as the Parliament and government ministries, emergency preparedness agencies and the Armed Forces, various EU institutions, consulting and communications firms, as well as in different areas of academia. The Foreign Affairs Academy also has an alumni association that regularly organizes various events.

The Foreign Policy Academy of 2017 consisted of 21 students, primarily from center-right youth organizations and political parties. The academic year comprised five lecture days and two trips, with the first trip being to Riga. The first lecture day took place on Saturday, January 21, with the theme Security Policy. Among the speakers were Stockholm Free World Forum’s rector Mats Johansson and Major General Karlis Neretnieks. The second lecture day was held on Saturday, March 18, and focused on “Free Flows.” The third education day took place on May 13, with the theme “The Future of Europe – If There Is One?” The first study trip of the year was to Riga on May 29-30. The autumn semester began with the second study trip to Berlin. The fourth lecture day took place on September 16, with the theme “Ideas and Isms in Our Time.” The final lecture day of the year occurred in November, focusing on “The Rest of the World.”
