With the aim of increasing the knowledge of influence operations and subversive actions by authoritarian regimes, the Stockholm Free World Forum has established the Center for Influence and Disinformation Analysis, CIDA.

CIDA sheds light on disinformation campaigns and other other influence operations targeting civil society, think tanks, business, the defence sector, media etc. The purpose of CIDA is to increase the resilience of free and democratic societies.

CIDA is a center under the Stockholm Free World Forum. It is managed by Patrik Oksanen.


Patrik Oksanen is a Senior Fellow at the Stockholm Free World Forum. He is an author and journalist with a background as a political editor,
programme anchor, reporter, project manager and head of news.

Patrik Oksanen is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences and Royal Swedish Society of Naval Sciences.
