He argues that the relevance of the upcoming election in Türkiye and Ankara’s wish to buy F16 fighter jets has been overstated. Instead, he argues, the question of US support of the Syrian Kurdish statelet is what is going to decide Türkiye’s position on the Nordic enlargement of NATO.
