In January the Stockholm Free World Forum (Frivärld) will begin its Foreign Policy Academy, an educational program for young opinion builders. The program, which will launch on January 17, will consist of lectures, study visits, scholarships, internships and investigative work throughout 2015.
The first course of the year will be made up of 16 students with a background in relevant academic fields and youth organizations. Among the lecturers are Sweden’s leading experts in foreign affairs and security related subjects.
Mats Johansson, Stockholm Free World Forum’s founder and chairman, will be the principal of the academy.
– Sweden is currently in a more exposed situation when it comes to foreign and security policy. It is natural for Stockholm Free World Forum to complement its work with an educational investment for young talents, Johansson said.
