In December 2014 the Stockholm Free World Forum (Frivärld) published a report in Swedish by Karl Lallerstedt titled “Syria and Sweden – A distant conflict with serious consequences at home” describing the economic forces behind the Syrian civil war and the effects they have on Sweden. The report has now been updated and translated into English.
